FAQ
What should I bring and wear? (Essential items to bring)
You can leave the changing room empty-handed. Before departing from the base, the guide will provide you with three items. Please note that any personal belongings you take to the river are not covered by any loss protection.
○Swimsuit
Wetsuits and other rental gear are available (included in the experience fee).
○Shoes that can get wet or sports sandals with heel straps
Rental shoes are available for 300 yen per pair, but sizes and quantities are limited. We appreciate it if you can bring your own.
Useful items and clothing to bring:
○Sunscreen
Getting sunburnt can indeed amplify fatigue! I’d recommend using waterproof sunscreen to prevent that.
○Rash guard
During the summer, wearing a wetsuit can make you feel very hot while on land. For those who prefer not to wear a wetsuit, it’s useful to bring a rash guard.
○A plastic bag for wet items
○Contact lenses or glasses straps
Wearing glasses can sometimes hinder your view due to water splashes and lens fogging, so contact lenses are recommended. While we offer free rental of glasses straps, sizes may not always fit perfectly, so bringing your own is more reassuring.
